How SawMatch makes a recommendation

The operating boundary behind SawMatch’s recommendations.

1. Application gate

The engine first checks whether the saw and material pairing is in the finite reviewed matrix. Unsupported pairings do not receive a product-like answer.

2. Material behavior

Each material is classified by chip formation, brittleness, abrasion, heat response, coating behavior, and health risk.

3. Section and objective

Form, wall or cut thickness, and desired finish influence tooth pitch, tooth count, body width, and geometry.

4. Machine fit

Diameter, arbor, RPM, shank, band dimensions, blade length, kerf, and plate thickness remain explicit. SawMatch does not infer a physical fit from a material match.

5. Explainability

Every result exposes construction, teeth or grit, geometry, fit, feed, setup, errors, and safety limits.
